Meeting Jonah during our 2023 Artist Inc Cohort session was an incredible delight! His genuine spirit instantly captivated me, leaving me in awe. His story is truly inspiring, and I feel so fortunate that he agreed to be featured. Not only that, but I am proud to call him a friend. Jonah's art shattered my preconceived notions about the world of creativity. Silly me, art isn't just pretty pictures—it's a vibrant tapestry that transports you to boundless imagination and evokes profound emotions. And here's the twist: Jonah, a welder by trade, fabricates the most astonishing statues out of recycled materials.

Jonah's artistic odyssey began in 2012, fueled by a desire for extra credit during welding school. But little did he know, this journey would unlock a world of boundless creativity. Resourcefulness became his muse as he transformed discarded materials into awe-inspiring sculptures.

Today, Jonah scours recycling centers, rummages through trash cans, and rescues lost objects from bustling streets. Every piece he creates breathes new life into forgotten materials, offering them a second chance at existence. Flowers, dogs, birds - his skillful hands shape them all, drawing inspiration from the vibrant beauty and diversity of nature.
